The Grimsley Choir was re-formed in 2005 to provide an opportunity for students to experience a traditional Concert Choir setting.  Singers in Grimsley Choir have fewer performance obligations than Madrigals, while still receiving rigorous musical training and having fun singing in a large group of intermediate to advanced singers.  Singers in Grimsley Choir sing a broad range of musical styles and genres from all major music historical periods, both accompanied and a cappella. Enrollment is limited.  An informal audition for female underclassmen is required.  Participation in occasional after school rehearsals and performances is required.  Concert dress is dictated by the director and purchase of appropriate attire and accessories is required.  Grimsley Choir members also have opportunities to sing in the school musical, All-County Chorus, and various other singing events in Guilford County.
